YOGA STYLES

VINYASA YOGA
Emphasizes the role of the breath and importance of healthy alignment. This is a well rounded, steady practice that builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and mental focus. Followed by deep surrender.


HATHA YOGA

Ha (sun) Tha (moon), classically Hatha means the balancing of the sun and moon energy within, or harmonizing the mind with the soul. On surface level this class is a steady exploration of yoga poses, props are often used to fine tune alignment and promote mastery of postures. Breathing techniques are used to enhance the practice and center the mind.


BEGINNING/YOGA BASICS

This class is designed for pure beginners and those desiring a slow detailed pace. These classes focus on healthy alignment in yoga's foundational poses and therefore provides the building blocks for an advancing practice. Many students have been coming to this class for years, others begin here and move on to advancing classes. Some come back again to refresh themselves with the fundamentals.

PRIVATE CLASSES:


ONE-ON-ONE classes are tailored specifically to the individual, they can be a part of a rehabilitation program or simply because every student benefits from such attentive guidance.


PRIVATE GROUPS are commonly corporate weekly classes or community classes organized by a condo association. They can also be a one off special occasion.
